AU Annual Faculty Seminar 2003 was organized on the topic: “University of the Future: Who Cares?” on 26- 27 May 2003 at Conference Center, John XXIII, Bangna campus, Assumption University. Dr of Science and Technology, Acting director, Thailand Gradate Institute of Science. Yongyuth Yuthavong, President of Thai Academy and Technology, and senior researcher at the National Center of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, NSTDA presented a keynote address on the topic:”Education and IT”, which was followed by a panel discussion titled “A Look into Future Graduates” delivered by five panelists: Mr.Dumrong & Mrs.Carol Supataraporn, student’s parents, Mr.Paul Duncanson, Chief Executive Officer, No magic, Incorporation, Dr.Graham Winley, Chairperson, Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Science and Technology, and Ms. Chansiri Kulvaraporn, Director of SSUP Group. A lecture on “Education Reform” by Rev. Bro. Dr. Prathep M. Komolmas, President Emeritus; and “Uinversity of the Future” by Mr.Mark Tumer, Cisco System Incorporation. In attendance were AU President, Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, Rev. Bro. Dr. Visit Srivichairatana, Vice President for Academic Affairs, administrators, and faculty members.
