AU Assumption Day 2002 was organized on 14 August 2002 to honour “The Seat of Wisdom” The Holy Mass, performed in St. Louis Marie de Montfort Church, and the Crowning of the Virgin Mary, in front of the Cathedral of Learning, solemnized the occasion and marked a beginning of the Feast of the Assumption Day tradition to be celebrated with devotion every year.
