ItemAn empirical study on data reuse intention among social science researchers in Chengdu, Sichuan province, ChinaThis study investigates the influencing factors of social science researchers’ intention to reuse data in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China. The conceptual framework includes information quality, service quality, subjective norms, data repository, perceived effort, and intention to reuse data. The researchers conducted a quantitative method to distribute the online questionnaire to 500 social science researchers. The sample techniques were purposive, quota, and convenience sampling. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Model (SEM) were used to analyze the data and examine the research hypotheses. The findings show that information quality, service quality, subjective norms, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and attitudes to data reuse significantly impact social science researchers’ intention to reuse data. In contrast, data repository has no significant impact on social science researchers’ intention to reuse data influences. It can effectively support the cycle between data sharing and reuse in the humanities and social sciences to promote the formation of ecology and provide references and suggestions for data management in this field.

ItemAn Economy Manufacturing Enterprise System: A Case Study of Plastic Injection Factory( 2014) Poonphon SuesaowalukAn automated system for manufacturing management called Manufacturing Enterprise System is proposed and designed for the supportive factory management with the low cost investment. The proposed system will record and provide the report of process performance by manipulating information, which is recorded during the actual process in the production line. The system captures the overall testing of particular product in each process. The testing would be either default as accept or reject and denote the defective criteria. The system reveals the actual performance of particular process of each product and yields throughout the production line. This development system contributes to support production management, especially to report the actual material management for Material Resource Planning (MRP) as a type of defect for defective analysis. Eventually, the implementation of this system is appointed at one stage of Enterprise System.

ItemHospital Service Queue Management System with Wireless Approach( 2015-09) Manoon Ngorsed ; Poonphon SuesaowalukThis paper presents a proposed alternative system for queuing management that could reduce inconvenience to the public. The motivation of this system is depicted from an observation on the people queuing for services in the hospitals and the government offices without committing to the estimated time for their demand. Waiting for the service is counterproductive which consumes an unacceptable amount of productive time for the patients. We develop the system to manage the queue without physically lining up and allow people to monitor their queue status by their wireless handheld devices. The project accomplishes its objective as a tool to manage the hospital queue online where customers, patients and stakeholder can access theirs queues remotely over the Internet through a web application. The results benefit to both stakeholder to manage their time for other desire activities and hospitals in utilizing its spacious area for other business proposes.

ItemMultidimensional Process Analytical System for Manufacturing Management( 2015) Poonphon SuesaowalukIndustrial or manufacturing management is a complex task that requires prior information from several entries to support in order to make the right decision with efficient solution and obtain the optimum profit. Business intelligent technology approach allows business organization to utilize information in a form of heterogeneous view and benefits several objectives for uses. This work employs business intelligent concepts to develop simplified real time process analysis systems for supportive manufacturing management. With many desirable benefits provided, multiple objectives of analysis derive from the single database. The system trial in homogenous or mass productions results in displaying the data analysis and enabling managers to view the multidimensional information based on a variety of perspectives such as a process improvement, inventory control, material management, quality assurance and eventually governance management in manufacturing. Furthermore, this work can be applicable to different configuration products.

ItemProposed E-commerce platform for unredeemed pawned itemsThis work proposes an online platform so called ePawnMart, which is designed specially for trading unredeemed pawned items to allows both the buyers and sellers to meet for accelerate the selling time, fair price of the pawned items for both side of customer and the shop owner. Research design, data and methodology: This study reviews available unredeemed pawned items selling methods, discusses main concerned areas to focus in building new e-commerce, and compare ePawnMart with the other existing platforms. The proposed system starts with the phase of system architecture, system requirements, use cases with use cases diagram, and main business flows with activity diagram. Results: Main features of the proposed platforms are discussed in detail both for buyers and sellers. Moreover, this study also proposes the user interface for both mobile app and websites of the proposed platform. This study does not include the real implementation of the proposed platform, which is recommended to be developed further in the future work. Conclusions: The proposed e-commerce platform would accelerate the growth of pawn shop industry by acting as a middleman who can help both the pawn shops (sellers) and buyers to solve their problems and get benefits.

ItemReal Time Process Analysis System in Electronic Components Manufacturing( 2013) Poonphon SuesaowalukA simplified process monitoring system is implemented for process performance analysis. The concept of system is designed to deal with the reuse information from conventional measurement inspection of electronic piece parts. The analytical process depicts the principle of Statistical Process Control (SPC) to manipulate the preliminary data in the database from measurement machines in a real-time manner. The system will firstly generate a comparison graphical data from a particular process which then produces an identical product from the multiple machines. Finally, the system can distribute a variety of reports desired as described in the index of data storage as part of the measurement matrix. The report aims to guide the process improvement as well as the Measurement System Analysis for total quality control.
