ItemImpact of occupational stress and coping styles on burnout among physicians in Yun nan, ChinaThis study was conducted to investigate the impact of occupational stress and coping styles on burnout among physicians in Yun Nan province, China. the sample consisted of 208 participants, consisting of 80 male and 128 female in-service physicians, recruited from different public hospitals. They voluntarily filled in a survey questionnaire consisting of the Occupational Stress Indicator-2 (OSI-2), the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Human Services Survey (MBI-HSS), and the Coping Inventory for Stressful Situations (CISS). The results revealed that the Chinese physicians' reported level of occupational stress directly influenced their reported level of burnout. It was also found that the more they applied emotion-focused coping, the higher was their reported level of burnout. Their reported level of occupational stress was not found to have any significant influence on their employment of either problem-focused or avoidance-focused coping style. All three coping styles were found to be associated with burnout. The more the participants employed problem-focused coping style as well as emotion-focused style, the higher was their reported level of burnout. On the other hand, the more they employed avoidance-focused coping style the lower was their reported level of burnout.

ItemThe relationship between teachers' perception toward teachers' leadership capacity and teachers' occupational stress in in-Gumla High School, Injan-Yang Township, Kachin State, MyanmarThe main purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between teachers’ perception toward teachers’ leadership capacity and teachers’ occupational stress in In-gumla High School in 2016 - 2017 academic year. The total of 45 fulltime teachers at selected School were surveyed by research instruments. The research instrument for this study was utilized to investigate the teachers’ perception toward their Leadership Capacity and their occupational stress in the school. The collected data was analyzed by using mean, standard deviation and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. The study found out that the level of teachers’ perception towards Teachers’ Leadership Capacity was ‘high’ and the level of teachers’ perception toward Teachers’ Occupational Stress was ‘low’ for the chosen school. As the result of findings between Teachers’ Leadership Capacity and Teachers’ Occupational Stress mean score, r value was .438, with significant correlation value of .01. The hypothesis was accepted as the study discovered that there was positive significance relationship between teachers’ perception towards Teachers’ Leadership Capacity and Occupational Stress was existing at chosen School. Teachers are recommended to seek the ways how to work with co-teachers closely than ever before and to develop skill and capacity to have high productivity and good performance to achieve organizational goals. It was also recommended for the teachers to avail the opportunities of the cutting-edge information and motivational seminars or courses to improve working conditions, and to reduce individual stress at their workplace. The management of this institution should check, evaluate, supervise and provide support to build a good relationship with the teachers to enhanced more strongly for achieving success and sustainability of school.

ItemThe relationship between teachers' perception towards organizational culture and occupational stress at No. 2 Basic education high school, in Insein Township, Myanmar(Digital Production Press, Assumption University, 2017) Moe, Chan Mya Mya ; Yan, Ye ; Verayuth BoonpramThe main purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between teachers’ perception towards organizational culture and occupational stress at No.2 Basic Education High School, in Insein Township, Myanmar in the academic year 2015-2016.A total of 91 full-time teachers from No.2 Basic Education High School, in Insein Township, Myanmar were surveyed for this study. The research instrument was the questionnaire that investigated the teachers’ perception towards organizational culture and occupational stress. The collected data were analyzed by using the mean, standard deviation and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient.The study found out that level of teachers’ perception towards organizational culture was moderate in the school, and the level of teachers’ perception towards occupational stress was low for the school. Therefore, the hypothesis was accepted as the study discovered that a moderate negative relationship between teachers’ perception towards organizational culture and occupational stress was existing at No.2 Basic Education High School, in Insein Township, Myanmar.
