AU Annual Staff Seminar 1997 was on the topic: "Thai University in the Year 2000" organized on 15 – 17 August 1997 at Asia Pattaya Hotel, Chon Buri. AU President, Rev. Bro. Prathip M. Komolmas presided over the seminar and delivered a lecture on “AU Development Policy in the Year 2000”, organized small groups on “Using Technology and Internet for Most Efficient Work Performance and Management” by Mr. Vichai Sathtachotinun, Director, Computing Center, Mr. Vivat Lauhabut, Director, AuNet Center, and Mr. Nathasith Wongpracha, Director, Internet Center; Dr. Chavalit Meennuch, Vice President for Administrative Affairs delivered a talk on “Thai universities in the Borderless World’s Year 2000”. In attendance were AU administrators and all staff members.
