Description
The Graduate School of Business, Assumption University, in cooperation with UOB Kay Hian Securities
(Thailand) Public Company Limited, opened the UOB Kay Hian Cyber Learning Center located on the first
floor, Assumption Hall, Hua Mak campus. The joint-venture Learning Center was initiated forthree primary
reasons:(1) it is designed to promote experiential, authentic learning of our students rather than learning from
textbooks; (2) the center serves new generations, e.g. young financial investors, with keen interest in making
use of today’s technology to optimize their financial investment; and (3) the Center supports the learning-whileworking
attitude among students.The opening was jointly presided over by Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran,
Rector Magnificus, Assumption University, and Mr. Chaipat Narkmontanakum, Chief Executive Officer, UOB
Kay Hian Securities (Thailand) Public Company Limited. The UOB Kay Hian Cyber Learning Center is
inaugurated on January 19, 2015.
