Description
Faculty of Biotechnology invited Professor Dr. Wen- Chien Lee to give a seminar under the topic “Functional inclusion bodies over-expressed in Escherichia coli on 23rd September, 2016 at Assumption University, Hua Mak campus. Prof. Dr. Wen-Chien Lee is professor in Department of Chemical Engineering and Director of Systems Biology and Tissue Engineering Research Center at National Chung Cheng University. In past three years, he has been a President of the Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering Society of Taiwan (BEST) and deputy secretary general of the Asian Federation of Biotechnology (AFOB). He has published 98 international journal papers, book chapters and holding many international patents. His current research interests are proteomics, biomagnetic particles, production of proteins and biomass-based chemicals. There was about 35 participants attended the seminar including undergraduate students, graduate students and faculty members. Prof. Dr. Wen-Chien Lee also proposed to set up future collaborations in term of research and academic with Faculty of Biotechnology, Assumption University.
