Opening ceremony of the Confucius Institute at Assumption University

Entrusted by the head office HANBAN China, Assumption University graciously held a grand opening of the 13th Confucius Institute in Thailand at Assumption University on September 12, 2015 at Cathedral of Learning (CL), Suvarnabhumi campus. The opening ceremony was presided over by co-chairs: Ms. Cao Xiao Hong, Deputy Governor of Tianjin China, and M.L. Panadda Diskul, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister’s Office. In attendance were distinguished guests: Ms. Sun Ling, representative of Hanban Thailand, Mr. Yong Suksudprasert, Chair of Thai - Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and representative of Chinese Ambassador to Thailand all of whom delivered congratulatory speeches: AU administrators, faculty members, staff, students, and honored guests attended this event.
