Description
The AU School of Biotechnology in collaboration with the School of Law organized the seminar on the controversial issue of the “Obstacles and Legalization of Marijuana Use” The seminar debating on this widely discussed topic organized on March 15, 2019 at the Hall of Fame, Hua Mak Campus, featured a number of distinguished speakers in related fields: medical, legal professionals and officials from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (Drug Control Divisions). Presided over by Rev. Bro. Dr. Amnuay Yoonprayong, Vice President for Moral Development Education, the seminar is aimed at shedding lights on medical benefits, related legal issues, law reform, legalization and regulation and the country’s economic gain deriving from marijuana’s (cannabis) use and commercialization and the better public awareness. The seminar attracted a number of faculty members, students, the media, interested individuals and members of the public.
