Description
To create awareness and understanding of students’ crucial mental health, diffusion or prevention of their potential involvement in or addiction with narcotic drugs, the project seminar was held for concerned faculty members, student affairs officials, dormitory owners or operators in the university vicinity who are charged with the care and supervision of students on campus. The seminar, organized by Office of the Student Affairs on November 29, 2018 at Suvarnabhumi Campus, highlighted the mental health issues i.e. behavioral observation skills, drug related problems or addiction of students, symptoms of depression as well as the caring tactics and assisting guidelines. Keynote expert guest speakers included Mr. Pornchokchai Sukkee, Lecturer/Trainer, Division Yeomanry Territorial District, Phetchaburi, and Dr. Ben Somrak (MD), Medical Specialty Hospital and Instructor of Cognitive Psychology, Chulalongkorn University.
