Description
The Catholic Social Communications of Thailand organized the Asia Catholic press conference (SIGNIS ASIA Assembly 2018) at the St. Gabriel Foundation of Thailand. Participated by about 50 catholic members of the press from as many as 18 countries, the assembly explored the controversial topic of “Fake News Versus Media for Peace.” Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Manificus, Assumption University, joined in the opening session and was among many other participants attending this international conference. On this occasion, Mr. Theethavat Janevatchararuk, a full time Lecturer, Department of Public Relations, AU Albert Laurence School of Communications Arts, delivered a special lecture highlighting on the “Research on Fake News.”
