Last Saturday, April 29, 2017, the Faculty of Law wrote a new page in Assumption University’s history. The Faculty’s Last Orientation for our graduating students was a great success. The two renowned speakers, Deputy Prime Minister and Professor Emeritus Dr. Wisanu Krua-ngam and Justice Professor Jarun Pakdeethanakul, graciously delivered inspiring talks to our graduating students, distinguished guests and AU faculty members. The event also served as a homecoming for several AU alumni, and allowed faculty members to give a last lecture to their students. These warm, caring and meaningful messages will long be remembered by the graduates as they embark on their career paths.
It was obvious that the homey atmosphere of the event would not have been possible without the uniting force and charming character of Associate Professor Pornchai Soonthornpan, Dean of the Faculty of Law. Assumption University wishes to express our deepest appreciation to both renowned speakers. It is a great honor to have them on campus. Dean Pornchai and the Faculty of Law deserve kudos and a round of applause for making the Last Orientation a reality.
