Description
Aimed at preserving the abundant precious Thai, local, cultural, handicrafts, object d’art pieces and herbal products, the Thai heritage preservation day was organized at the AU Shopping Plaza (CL Bldg.), Suvarnabhumi Campus, on April 22-25, 2019. Arranged by Office of Thai Art and Culture, Student Affairs, the event exhibited assorted arrays of uniquely Thai valuable items of intellectual heritage: Royal products of “the Support Foundation” of H.M. Queen Sirikit, herbal products of Chaophraya Abhaibhubejhr Clinic or Hospital Foundation, Sisal Products from Araya shop, Phetchaburi Province, mudmee cotton products from Mitr Mongkol shop, Sukhothai province as well as products from Saowabha Vocational College, Thai miniature mobile museum, and Bang Sai Royal Folk Arts and Crafts Centre. Gracing the event, Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Manificus, presided over the occasion rendering moral support to organizers, faculty members, staff and students who actively contributed to making the program successful.
