Congratulations! to Thailand - Chemerical Team who win Brandstorm 2017, “Brand Award” International Final Winner in Paris, The team from Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics, Assumption University, Thailand now clinches the final victory at the L'Oreal Brandstorm Competition in Paris. Ms. Veerin Worakittisophon, Ms.Belle Ling, and Ms.Journey Ling from the Department of International Business Management are accompanied by Dr. Suwanna Kowathanakul, Chairperson, Marketing Department and A. Wendy Farrell from the International Business Management Department to the competition.

The team first had to win the challenge to represent Thailand and be one of the six teams representing Asia. All 41 teams around the world set up their presentation booth at Palais de Tokyo to pitch six groups of jury committees to evaluate their disruptive innovative product idea and digital marketing plan. Only three finalists; Thailand, Germany and Singapore of Brand Award competition and three finalists of Tech Award were selected to make presentation again for all audiences at the last round.

Excitement starts to build up as the teams are given only 5 minutes and limited to ten slides. There are only three awards namely the Brand Award, Tech Award, and CSR Award.

Chemerical team from Assumption University, representative of Thailand eventually won Winner of the Brand Award, the first time for Brandstormers of Thailand.

This international competition has been hosted by L'Oreal for the past 25 years with approximately 95,000 students from 58 countries as participants. For this year, the challenge is to DISRUPT MEN’S GROOMING WITH LIFE-CHANGING INNOVATION with an innovative and viable product idea, a clear and solid branding strategy, coupled with the team outstanding and tactful presentation skills.
