AU Assumption Day 2001 was organized on 15 August 2001 to honour “The Seat of Wisdom” The Holy Mass, performed in St. Louis Marie de Montfort Church, and the Crowning of the Virgin Mary, in front of the Cathedral of Learning, solemnized the occasion and marked a beginning of the Feast of the Assumption Day tradition to be celebrated with devotion every year.
