Another Meaningful Event: School of Law Freshmen Orientation 2017
Last Saturday September 23, 2017 witnessed another meaningful activity especially organized for freshmen of the School of Law, Assumption University. Deputy Prime Minister, Prof. Dr. Wissanu Krea-Ngam, delivered a captivating lecture on “How to Succeed in Legal Studies” to Law Freshmen Class of 2017. In his powerful one-hour lecture, he emphasized “why” in learning law and find a long-term buddy learning group, besides being passionate, hard working, mindful on studies, and being reflective, which is Buddha’s “Power Four”- Principles to Success (Chanda, Viriya, Chitta, Vimangsa). Another speaker was Mr. Cheep Julamon, Vice President of the Supreme Court, going to be the President as of October 1, 2017, who also emphasized diligence, commitment and perserverance. A note of Appreciation to the Dean, Associate Professor Pornchai Soonthornpan, for organizing this memorable experience for our freshmen. We wish you all a happy living and successful study at our warm family, Assumption University.
