The Chinese New Year of the Rat was joyfully celebrated by Department of Business Chinese, Theodore Maria School of Arts, with celebrants comprising faculty, students and staff clad in brightly colored Chinese costumes. Business Chinese students professionally put up cultural Chinese dances and shows; showcasing a variety of unique and traditional performances typical of particular Chinese tribes or groups besides the auspicious spectacular Chinese Lion Dance. Graced by Rev. Bro. Dr. Banchan Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus, the annual occasion was recently held at Suvarnabhumi Campus, during which countless Chinese New Year gifts “Hongbao” were presented to participants.
