Description
The especially grand event was organized to celebrate the 84th Birthday Anniversary of Rev. Bro. Dr. Prathip M. Komolmas, Rector Emeritus, and the 72nd Birthday Anniversary of Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Senghrian, President-Rector Magnificus. This auspicious occasion started with the holy mass presided over by His Eminence Michael Michai Kitbunchu, Cardinal, Archbishop Emeritus of Bangkok, at the Chapel of St. Louis Marie de Montfort, Suvarnabhumi Campus, in honor of the two respectable birthday celebrants and fully attended by representatives of the Brothers of St. Gabriel Community in Thailand, AU top management body, administrators, faculty members, staff, general workers and honored guests. For this very special celebration, both rectors were highly privileged to receive the birthday bouquet of flowers graciously sent by HRH Princess Soamsawali through her representatives. The celebration organized on Friday, November 24, 2017 featured the detailed descriptive exhibition chronically depicting the lives, works and extra-ordinary achievements of both presidents. The event ended with the evening Chinese style dinner at the Jaturamookpaichitr Thai Pavilion area fronting CL Building, during which time the audiences were entertained by students’ performances and spectacular fire work display. This unique occasion also marked the 48th anniversary of Assumption University.
