Description
The AU Games 2019 opening ceremony was officially marked by the mini marathon featuring the 3 KM and 6 KM mini marathon runs around the campus enthusiastically participated by lecturers, staff, students and interested individuals. Presided over by Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus, the mini marathons kicked off in front of the John Paul II Sports Center, Suvarnabhumi Campus on February 11, 2019. Countless runners joined in with the first 3 winners of each category awarded the winning prizes by the rectors, while the first thousand finishers were as well presented with the medals. Organized by Assumption University Student Organization (AUSO), these recreationally health-promoting AU Games featuring a variety of games/sports being competed among many participating AU student groups are scheduled to come to a close on February 21, 2019 .
