Asst. Prof. Rachanee K., Faculty of Arts and Miss jantana T., Office of Information and Technology Services (ITS) won the second runner up in the e-learning contest : Seminar Educational Media Literacy ; Knowing Deep, Choosing Better, Going Great organized by the Mahidol University on August 27, 2012.

With reference to the International Experts Meeting, held at City Grundwald Germany, resulted in the conclusion that the media (Media Education) is very important and has a huge influence on society. A rational and systematic media study is an important component of modern citizenship. (Youth Media Education: the Seville Seminar February 2002, UNESCO Communication Development Division, Paris)

The teaching of the media education should be integrated in every subject, and should be combined with a lifelong learning process. Therefore, all teachers should be trained to be more skillful so that they can use the media more properly and efficiently. Teachers should link the world of the classroom into the real world and point out the difference between various subjects by comparison the content being discussed in the media.

Mahidol University held the seminar Educational Media Literacy: Knowing Deep, Choosing Better, Going Great to cultivate the awareness of using the media, and to encourage the media to produce someting valuable so that people will recognized and use the media perfectly on August 27-29, 2012 at Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
