During their recent meeting with Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus, at Hua Mak Campus on February 18, 2019, Rev. Fr. Pitoyo S.J. and his assistant Ms. Theresia Rorik, executives from Chiengrai Xavier Learning Community, discussed about the possible AU’s collaboration and educational assistance to their relatively young and fledging community institution. Xavier Learning Community is spearheaded towards improving the lives of young people from impoverished and neglected communities. Assumption University’s potential worthwhile assistance to Xavier Learning Community, still in its infancy, may be in the areas of tourism certificate program, scholarships for Master’s Degree in Tourism and Hotel management for XLC faculty members and staff, internal quality assurance system and faculty exchange program for English language, tourism and hospitality program.
