Description
The recently held “Oral Pleading Rounds” of the ALSA International Moot Court Competition 2019 was participated by the two ALSA Assumption teams of the AU junior and senior law student contestants from the AU School of Law. Under the supervision and coaching of Dr. Pattawee Sookhakich, Graduate Program of Laws Director, AU School of Law, the AU student teams who competed under the theme “The International Investment Law and Arbitration” joined several other competing law student teams from more than 20 countries around Asia. Organized by the Asian Law Students Association, Thailand, during September 13-16, 2019, at the Windsor Hotel, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, the AU teams gained valuable skills in the analytical, legal research, writing and advocacy areas; expanding their knowledge on several issues of the international law in the simulated environments even though the National University of Singapore’s student team emerged as winner.
