Description
Several precautionary measures have been taken by the University so as to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus: encouraging the face-mask wearing, hand washing and disinfection gel bottles made readily available. Assumption University Student Organization (AUSO) is also distributing face-masks to students, faculty, staff and visitors in an effort to curb the epidemic.Spearheaded by Rev. Bro. Dr. Achin Tengtrakul, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, such measures are being put in place for the safety of the University’s community members while the Bangsao Thong District Public Head office, Samut Prakan, provided preliminary free health checkups on January 29, 2020 at Suvarnabhumi Campus, to detect any signs of fevers or illness for both Thai, foreign students and university personnel. Moreover, Faculty of Biotechnology, is preparing adequate disinfection gel for distribution to departments, units or sections of the university for further use.
