AU participation in 45th "Rajamangala Thanyaburi University Games"

Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President – Rector Magnificus of Assumption University Encouraging and Blessing Remarks to AU Athletes Participating in 45th “Rajamangala Thanyabuiri University Games” on January 16, 2018 at the Lobby area, Catheral of Learning, at Assumption University, Suvarnabhumi Campus.
A group of AU athletes, coaches, team leaders joining the 45th “Rajamangala Thanyabuiri University Games” was given encouraging, admonitory and blessing words by Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, Rector-Magnificus; boosting their morale and spirit of sportsmanship in preparation for their participation in this up-coming University Games taking place during January 21–31, 2018.
Led by A. Nukul Chaisuriya, Director, Center for Sports and Physical Fitness, AU sports team leader was presented with Assumption University’s Flag. The president admonitory address in line with the concept “Pride of AU Sportsmanship” stressed Rev. Bro. Dr. Prathip M. Komolmas, Rector Emeritus’s ideology of sports being the tool for one’s learning and self development. The president also emphasized on the complete adherence to rules & sportsmanship, respect to other contestants, referees’ decisions, and fair competition as exam-plenary representatives of Assumption University. For this year, there will be as many as 166 AU athletes competing in 17 main types of sports and one demonstration game.
